The government has sent another consignment of iron sheets to Oyam district to help aide the resettlement of the IDPs in the area.

Oyam district woman Member of parliament Beatrice Amongi Lagada says the iron sheets shall be distributed to accessed vulnerable group who had missed during the first distribution exercise sometimes back in 2007.

MP Amongi says that this consignment is part of the fulfillment of President Yoweri Museveni?s promise during his last visit to the district in 2007.

Mr. Museveni in 2007 during his political visit to Oyam district assured vulnerable IDPs of another consignment of iron sheets by the government.

According to MP Amongi the 4340 iron sheets shall be given to over 217 house holds in the area.

She warned some greedy politicians against involving their politics of confusion in the distribution exercise.

During the first distribution of IDPs iron sheets in Ngai Sub County several local leaders including the then Apac district RDC Lt. Chandia Steven were arrested over alleged theft of the iron sheets.
