The UPDF have recovered several assortments of LRA rebels’ planted war equipments across the region northern Uganda. In a communiqué  issued the by the 5th division army spokesman Captain Ronald Kakunguru, UPDF has recovered 5 Anti Personnel mines, 3 Sub machine guns, 24 tins of Sub machine gun ammunitions, and 2 tins of G2 ammunition.
 
He further revealed that they have recovered 2 bombs of 60ml, 1 bomb of 82ml, Mortar, 184 lose rounds of ammunition, 3 RPG shells within the month of February.
 
Captain Ronald says UPDF in the North have currently embarked on a special operation to clean abandoned areas of unexploded ordinances.
