UPDF and DRC generals dance in Camp Eskimo to the tune "kazi huliyo tutumia muzei tumemaliza"

The Ugandan Chief of Defense Forces General Aronda Nyakairima and his Congolese counterpart General Didier Etumba accompanied by the two Commanders who led the joint operation Brig Patrick Kankiriho and Colonel Mondos Muhindo have officially handed over Kony's main camp in DRC to Congolese troops.

The ceremony also saw off the Ugandan troops emerging out of the camp it occupied and dominated since the 14th of Dec.
 
According to General Aronda, it was in this camp that Kony and his terror masters sat and planned how to spread their terror against the Congolese people.
 
It is here that Kony did command and cultivate food using the abducted victims.  He was sure that Congolese forces helped by MONUC would be able to do the same job UPDF have been doing and so as to ensure Kony is never at anyone time allowed to come any closer to these camps.
 
He thanked the gallant soldiers of UPDF together with FARDC for the work done so far. He also and witnessed the handover of the camp from the Ugandan commander Lt Col Stephen Mugerwa to Congolese Commander Maj. Patrick.
 
On his side, the Congolese Chief of General Staff Gen Didier Etumba praised the unity exhibited in this operation and said it was a new error set by the two forces from which others should learn.
 
He said the operation was a big blow to LRA and it just took hours before Kony whom he referred to as a coward had left his base for the nearest toll and dense canopies of the jungles.
 
He said the work for hunting for Kony will continue but in another form as the two countries now share intelligence on LRA.   Two Intelligence Chiefs from the two countries Brig James Mugira of Uganda and Brig Kitenge of Congo also attended.
 
General Etumba told the Ugandan Forces which were pulling out to go home happy after doing a noble job which cannot be done by anybody else.
 
He insisted and assured UPDF delegation and troops that he would track down LRA and kill or capture him "We shall track Kony capture or kill him, no lies about that"
 
?As UPDF we shall continue to keep our ears on ground through intelligence to ensure that Kony diminishes completely? Captain Akiiki said. He is aware and almost sure that he can never return to Uganda.
 
?Wherever Matsanga is, he should be told that his good wishes for LRA are a mere myth which will not even enter any historical book. As our CDF said, Kony is at his weakest point than we have ever witnessed before?, said Akiiki.
 
?So people in Uganda and Northern Uganda in particular should just go about their business and rather think of development to fight problems like global economic crisis than LRA?.
