The district chief Administrative Officer of Apac Paul Walakira has cautioned civil servants against miss using the government properties under their custody.
Walakira said some of the district staff use government vehicles and motorcycles to visit bars and transact personal business adding that it puts the properties at risk.
He was recently speaking in front of district chambers while handing over vehicles and motorcycles for the district Livelihood programmes (DLSP) to all the sub counties in Apac.
The district chairman Nicholas Opio Bunga asked the beneficiaries to use the donations to strengthen the operations of savings and credit co-operatives in communities to foster Agricultural development in the district.
He said the properties should be use to monitor Land Management, Roads and Water Infrastructures development projects and mobilize communities for commercial farming
