Bank of Africa has opened their new branch in Lira town to boost business in Lango sub region. The chairman board of directors John Carruthers said the branch will not only address the problems of non-banking population but will also tap the tremendous business growth potentials which Lira town offers.
Carruthers said that Bank of Africa will provide opportunities mostly for small and medium sized enterprises which dominate the districts in Lango, with services such as loans.
He was addressing a gathering at the official launched of the Bank at Mayors garden Lira
He said bank of Africa has branches in Jinja, Arua, Mbale, Lira, and Mbarara and seven branches in Kampala.
