THE government has allocated 3.2 billion shilling to Apac district local government for the financial year 2009/2010 under Peace, Recovery,and Development programes ( PRDP).
The deputy chief Administrative officer (CAO) Patrick Olila said the fund will be remitted to the district effective July this financial.
He said the fund will be used to construct teachers houses, and to rehabilitate health centres, schools and roads in the district.

Meanwhile the district chairman of Finance and Administration said that the part of the fund (one hundred million shillings) will be disbursed to Apac town council to do some developmental activities.
The government has allocated 1.1 trillion shillings under PRDP which will cover fourty districts across the country
