STANBIC Bank Apac branch has donated over 9000 text books to primary schools to improve academic performance in Apac district.
While handing over the text books to the district education officer Billy Okunyu at her office on Thursday today, the Bank branch Manager Eunice Achola noted that the district’s education performance has always been poor and that joint effort was required to reverse the trend.
Achola said the primary leaving examination revision pamphlets contents comprised of PLE pass papers which would boost teacher’s effort in preparing candidates for examinations
Achola also advised teachers to apply for salary earners’ loans to help in meeting education bills for their children and family development.
She advised clients to apply for ATM visa cards in order for them to get services in all the banks across the world.
She cautioned teachers to stop collecting access cards from all staffs in schools; saying this is leading to jams in the auto bank, a practice that embarrasses other clients.
