Famous Lango comedian Capt. Fabulous aka Patrick Olwit on Saturday became chief entertainer at the launch of DJ Cool's K-Zone Club and made himself with huge money when invited Kampala based artistes failed to appear at the well publicized event.

Fabulous became the chief performer when he started his usual irritating comedy and later subjected fans to excessive laughing with irritating performances and made away with more than five hundred thousand shillings.

By 10pm K-Zone was overflowing with thousand of fans who turned up for the event but strange enough all invited singers Mose Radio and Weasel, Raga Dee, Bobi Wine and Grace Nakimera never appeared.

DJ cool aka Jimmy Ohuru Onapa K-Zone director criticized the artistes for failing him besides prior arrangement with them. Onapa said he invested more than five hundred million.

Enraged Onapa had no option but to make quick alternative arrangements. He got some local singers around who later performed in the club.

As usual Capt. Fabi never bored people once on stage. This time round he did tremendous job with his galling dance that rocked a lot of funs.

"These artistes are now complicated but we shall use this place to promote Northern and upcoming artistes", Onapa told thousand of fans.

Jimmy Onapa is the first DJ to open a club with the biggest swimming pool in the North.

To me, the action by Kampala based artists to shun the event is wonderful and indeed a blessing in disguise for the local artists who are often times snubbed in preference to the Kampala based singers who many times are not good enough either.

Good kick in the teeth for DJ Cool but a better beggining for our local artists who I hope made the best of the situation to build ahuge fan base.
